A Physical Therapist position is available in a K-12 school setting in Mansfield, TX. This contract role is scheduled from ASAP through May 23, 2025, for approximately 25 hours per week. The position supports a caseload of about 12 students, providing physical therapy services approximately every other week for 20-minute sessions. The workload averages 20 hours weekly but includes additional time for evaluations, paperwork, and potential caseload growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy treatment plans tailored to student needs in a K-12 educational environment
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as required
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with reporting standards
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student development and accommodations
- Manage a dynamic caseload with flexibility for adjustments and growth
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (required)
- Experience providing PT services in school settings preferred
- Knowledge of pediatric physical therapy practices and school-based therapy regulations
- Strong organizational skills to handle documentation and scheduling efficiently
- Ability to work onsite in Mansfield, TX during school hours
